Are you lost? - 2025
'Are you lost?' is a short post apocalyptic sci-fi film and a collaborative effort between myself and a team of colourists, animators, voice actors and a composer. While the other films I had worked on gave me more experience in animation and technical skills, this film gave me more experience in working with a larger team, and other aspects of the pipeline I was less familiar with, such as sound editing and foley.

Synopsis: A boy is lost in a strange wasteland, full of abandoned cities and buildings on wheels, until a figure in a mask stops and asks him if he's lost. When he says he is, she offers him her hand. The two back to the boy's city, while he asks her lots of questions, most of which she gives vague answers to. He stops to ask her why she bothered to help him, when she notices something and pushes him behind her. She's spotted a dormant robot, and urges the boy back, but the boy steps on a twig and alerts the robot. It activates, revealing layers of sharp teeth and spider like legs, and bites the girl's arm off before the boy manages to destroy it with a firework. The boy then learns that the girl is a cyborg, but this revelation doesn't quell the budding friendship between the two. Then, the boy's city, many large buildings on wheels, rolls into view, and the two are able to make it to safety.

Looping animation
These short animations are frame by frame loops created in adobe animate, and were part of a personal project to learn more about animating wildlife and movement in general, so paid careful attention to not only how the creature would move, but how other aspects, like wings or fins would move in water or air. Some feature real creatures like owls or seals, while some feature more fantasy like creatures, but they all share a similar aesthetic.
